Glen Clark, CEO
Glen has over 30 years of experience in industry as both CFO and COO of engineering businesses, trained as a chartered accountant and moved into industry early in his career and spent 25 years in the aerospace industry growing Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group into a global aerospace engineering player. He has spent the last 7 years supporting start-ups and second stage growth companies in the Cambridge area
Paul Egan, VP Sales
Paul has enjoyed a long career in wireless technology and IoT. In the early 90s he was part of the initial team at ARM. In the late 90s he joined CSR shortly after its creation, for 10 years playing a key role in design of its Bluetooth ICs, before co-founding LPWAN pioneer Neul in 2010. At Neul, which was acquired by Huawei in 2014, Paul served as VP, Business Development. Before joining 8power, Paul worked as principal consultant at the Digital Catapult starting the IoTUK project.
Richard Green, Chairman
Richard is a serial entrepreneur, non-executive director and business mentor. He was co-founder and CEO of Ubisense, the award winning Industrial Internet of Things pioneer. Under Richard’s leadership Ubisense listed on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM growth market in 2011.
Prior to Ubisense, Richard co-founded Smallworld, an enterprise geospatial software company which listed on Nasdaq in 1996 and was acquired by GE in 2000.
